An artesian well in the northeast corner provides year-round flowing water for a lake, providing open water throughout the winter. An excellent steel in-ground pit provides great hunting at this site. A second lake with wooden blind is located to the southwest, just off the east corner of the center pivot. Numerous small lakes and developed slough channels are located to the south, and along northern boundaries of the main river valley. Geese utilize the haylands and pivot area for day lounging. (waterfowl can not be hunted on the river).
Excellent habitat is provided along the entire North Platte River for both deer & turkey. Only bow deer hunting is allowed in zones along the river, while rifle hunting is legal on the remainder of Paradise. Both whitetail and mule deer abound plus many, many turkey (with occasional elk on the property).
Nearly all warm-water fish are found in the developed lake at the main residence. Portions of the lake are 30 feet in depth, with the lake allowing boating and jet skis. This man made lake provides an excellent setting for the elegant home, and for all your parties and entertaining.
